FEEDING AND DIET
We feed our animals a diet of corn silage, dry-hay, grain and all the grass they desire. We finish our steers on a grain and hay diet to ensure a great marbling and well rounded, flavorful product.
BUTCHERING AND PROCESSING
Our prices for our steers are based off of BOX WEIGHT of the meat you receive back after processing. We charge $8.50 per pound of box weight that is weighed by a third party. (the butcher). $8.50 per pound for EVERYTHING you receive. No hidden costs, no butcher fees, and no paying by the hanging weight. You only pay for what you get!
Orders of entire animal, half, and quarter are available. Butchering process is paid for by Darland Manor and will not be included on your balance.
All packages are labeled with vacuum-sealed, water-resistant labels, to ensure a great, fresh-tasting product.
All animals are processed at a high-end butcher shops that are USDA inspected and approved.

What the customer receives:
The customer is provided with a custom cut sheet if purchasing a 1/2 or more. A yield sheet will entail every piece of beef product within any order size.
1/4 orders will be a typical (1/8 front, 1/8 hind) variety of cuts with no custom option.
Cost.
Entire animal; $3000+ min (350lb+ of meat received)
Half; $1500 min *most popular* (185lb+ of meat received)
Quarter; $750-$950 (85lb+ of meat received)
